The Pilatus PC-12 price starts around $4.4 million for the model Pilatus launched in 2020 and sits near $6.4 million today. Wings Magazine reported a base price of $4.39 million for the PC-12 NGX in May 2020, with a typical executive configuration at $5.37 million. Private Jet Card Comparisons now lists a new PC-12 at $6.4 million. Used examples run from roughly $2.8 million to $5.6 million, depending on age, per a Flycraft valuation from October 2026.

This guide covers what each generation costs, what the aircraft does, what it costs to fly and charter, and where the Pilatus PC-24 jet fits above it. The PC-12 is a turboprop, not a jet, but for many buyers it does the job a light jet would, and it leads our list of single-engine private jets.

Pilatus PC-12 Price New and Used

Pilatus does not publish a price list, and its PC-12 page tells buyers to contact a sales center. Every figure below is therefore reported, with the source and year named. Read them as a working range, not a quote.

What a New PC-12 Costs

Two dated numbers anchor the market. Wings Magazine reported in May 2020, when Pilatus delivered the first PC-12 NGX aircraft, that the base price was $4.39 million and a typically equipped executive aircraft was $5.37 million. Private Jet Card Comparisons, on its 2026 PC-12 page, gives a new price of $6.4 million.

The two do not describe the same aircraft in the same year, so do not subtract one from the other and call it inflation. What they show is the scale: a new PC-12 is a $4 million to $7 million decision, and the interior you specify moves it within that band.

The newest model, the PC-12 PRO, has no published list price. Pilatus’s March 2025 release announcing it names no price, and Aviation International News’s March 2025 report on its certification does not state one either. Ask a Pilatus sales center for a completed price on a named layout.

What a Used PC-12 Costs

Flycraft, a charter company that publishes valuation data from its sister company Radar, put a PC-12 NG at about $2.8 million for a 2008 build and $5.6 million for a 2019 build, in a page dated October 2026. The same page reported six sales between $4.1 million and $5.6 million.

Total time, engine condition, damage history, avionics and logbook completeness all move the price of a specific aircraft, per the same Flycraft page. Treat a modeled value as a starting point and a broker’s asking price as an opening position.

PC-12 Generations

The name covers more than three decades of airframes. The generation matters more to price than almost anything else, because the cockpit and engine changed with each one.

PC-12 Legacy

Development began in 1987, and the first prototype flew on May 31, 1991, according to Pilatus’s heritage page. Flycraft’s registry data shows 1,443 PC-12s on the US register, built from 1994 to 2026, across the PC-12, PC-12/45, PC-12/47, NG, NGX and PC-12/47G variants.

The early aircraft are the cheapest way into the type. Published market reads start with the NG, so there is no reliable figure for them. Expect a buyer to pay for a pre-purchase inspection and a record of the engine program rather than for the label.

PC-12 NG

Pilatus introduced the PC-12 NG with new avionics at the 60th NBAA convention in September 2007, per its heritage page. This is the generation behind the modeled $2.8 million to $5.6 million used range above, and it is where most of the used market sits.

PC-12 NGX and PC-12 PRO

Pilatus unveiled the PC-12 NGX at NBAA-BACE in autumn 2019. Wings Magazine reported in May 2020 that it was the first aircraft with Pratt & Whitney’s PT6E-67XP engine, rated at 1,845 shp, with a maximum cruise of 290 KTAS and time between overhauls extended to 5,000 hours.

The PRO followed. Pilatus’s media release of March 14, 2025 describes a redesigned cockpit on the Garmin G3000 PRIME flight deck, with three large touchscreen primary displays, Garmin’s Autoland function, a redesigned interior with new cabinetry, and the latest Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6. The release says deliveries begin in the fourth quarter of 2025. AIN’s report from the same week says the third quarter, so check the delivery slot directly.

Pilatus PC-12 Specs

Pilatus lists the PC-12 at a maximum cruise of 290 KTAS and a maximum range of 1,765 nm, with a take-off distance of 2,485 ft and seating for up to nine passengers (Pilatus PC-12 page, 2026). Range figures vary by who states them and on what assumptions: Private Jet Card Comparisons gives 1,340 nm with four passengers and NBAA IFR fuel reserves.

Cost to Run and Charter a PC-12

Charter per Hour

FlyUSA, a charter broker, says on its 2026 page that PC-12 charter “typically starts at $3,500 per flight hour,” depending on location, demand and aircraft configuration, with fuel and landing fees affecting the final cost. Broker pages elsewhere quote lower hourly figures, so treat any single number as a marketing estimate and get quotes for a real route. Our private jet charter cost guide explains how hourly rates become trip prices.

Owning One

No named source publishes a full per-hour operating cost for the PC-12. Fuel is the part that can be estimated: Flycraft lists a burn of 66 US gallons per hour for the NGX, and prices fuel at $7.66 a gallon in its October 2026 data for the PC-24, which would put PC-12 fuel at about $505 an hour on those two inputs. Add maintenance, crew, hangar and insurance on top. The structure of those costs is in the cost of owning a private jet.

If you are comparing financing for a turboprop purchase, a specialist lender can price it.

Pilatus PC-24 Price

The PC-24 is the same company’s twin-engine jet, and the step up if you want jet speed. Pilatus first flew it on May 11, 2015, and it was certified by EASA and the FAA on December 7, 2017, according to the Pilatus heritage page.

PC-24 New Price

AIN reported on May 20, 2019, when Pilatus reopened the PC-24 order book after five years, that the base price was $10.7 million. Aviation Week reported in May 2024 that the factory-new list price was $8.9 million in 2018 and that Aircraft Bluebook lists it at $12.2 million equipped in 2024.

PC-24 Used Price

Aviation Week also reported in May 2024 that three PC-24s listed on the International Aircraft Dealers Association’s Aircraft Exchange had asking prices from $10 million to $13 million. It counted 236 PC-24s in service worldwide at that point, with PlaneSense, the launch customer, holding 13 at the end of 2023.

PC-24 Specs and Running Cost

Pilatus lists a maximum cruise of 440 KTAS, a maximum range of 2,000 nm and a take-off distance of 3,090 ft, with a divan that converts to a full-size bed (Pilatus PC-24 page, 2026). Private Jet Card Comparisons gives the cabin as about 23 ft long, 5.6 ft wide and 5.1 ft high, with seating for up to eight.

On running cost, Flycraft estimates a PC-24 at about $1,271,511 a year at 200 flight hours, or $6,358 an hour all in, with variable costs of $2,796 per flight hour (October 2026). That is a charter company’s estimate, not a quote.

PC-12 vs Light Jets

The real choice for most buyers is the PC-12 against a light jet, and the PC-24 and the Embraer Phenom 300 are the two natural rivals. Specs below come from Pilatus and Private Jet Card Comparisons, and the Phenom’s price is covered on its own page: Phenom 300 price.

Verdict: the PC-12 wins on price, short-field capability and the cost of every hour. A jet wins on speed (440 KTAS against 290 KTAS per Pilatus) and on range. Flycraft lists the PC-12 ceiling at 30,000 ft in its October 2026 data, so a jet can also climb above more weather. Where Are Pilatus Aircraft Made?

Pilatus builds the PC-12 in Switzerland. Its May 2023 release on handing over the 2,000th PC-12 to PlaneSense says the aircraft was built in Switzerland and handed over at the company’s headquarters in Stans. The same release says Pilatus produced 80 PC-12s in 2022 and that the global fleet had logged more than ten million flight hours.
