The Falcon 10X price is reported at about $75 million for a new aircraft by Private Jet Card Comparisons (read November 2026), but nobody can buy one yet. The Dassault Falcon 10X first flew on June 19, 2026, and Dassault has pushed service entry from 2027 to 2029 (Business Jet Traveler, July 2026).
Dassault lists the jet at 7,500 nautical miles of range and a cabin 109 inches wide, the broadest of any current ultra-long-range business jet on published figures (dassaultfalcon.com, 2026). Dassault publishes no price, so every dollar figure here is a reported estimate. This guide covers the price, where the program stands, the specs and the cabin, then sets the 10X against the Bombardier Global 8000 and the Gulfstream G700.
Falcon 10X Price
What the Jet Is Reported At
Private Jet Card Comparisons lists a new Dassault Falcon 10X at $75 million and says the price is expected to be approximately that figure (read November 2026). Dassault’s own Falcon 10X page does not list a price and directs buyers to its sales team (dassaultfalcon.com, read November 2026).
Treat $75 million as a placeholder. Prices for a jet that has not entered service are set when a buyer signs, and they move with the interior, the options and the delivery slot. For context, Bombardier gave the Global 8000 a list price of $78 million at its 2022 launch (Reuters, May 2022), and Private Jet Card Comparisons lists a new G700 at $78 million (read November 2026). On those numbers the 10X sits a little below both, though the gap compares an estimate with prices for jets already delivering.
Why There Is No Used Market
There is no used Falcon 10X to price. Private Jet Card Comparisons lists the jet as pre-production, with no fractional program and no dedicated jet card (read November 2026). Anyone offering a “Falcon 10X for sale” today is selling a future delivery position, not an aircraft, and that is a contract worth reading with a lawyer and an aviation adviser. For a sense of how pricing across the class works, see our guide to how much a private jet costs.
Where the Program Stands
Dassault launched the Falcon 10X program in May 2021 (Private Jet Card Comparisons, read November 2026). The timeline since then has been longer than first planned.
First Flight
The first Falcon 10X took off from Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport on June 19, 2026. Test pilots Sébastien Dupont de Dinechin and Fabrice Dougnac checked handling at 15,000 feet, retracted the gear, climbed to 40,000 feet and reached Mach 0.82 in a flight of two hours and 30 minutes (Dassault Aviation press release, June 19, 2026). Dassault chairman and CEO Éric Trappier said: “This inaugural flight is another milestone for Dassault” (Dassault Aviation, June 2026).
The Slip to 2029
At its half-year results in July 2026, Dassault moved service entry from 2027 to 2029. Trappier said certification could take about two and a half years after first flight, and Business Jet Traveler noted he gave no firm commitment to 2029. He pointed to stricter certification rules in force since 2023, following the Boeing 737 MAX accidents, that did not apply to the Falcon 6X (Business Jet Traveler, July 2026).
The Test Fleet
Dassault said in June 2026 that a second flight-test aircraft was nearing completion and would fly soon, and that a third, fitted with a full interior, will mainly test systems and cabin functionality and reliability (Dassault Aviation, June 2026). Dassault is also renovating pavements at its Istres flight-test center to handle a jet heavier than earlier Falcons (Business Jet Traveler, July 2026).
The practical reading for a buyer: the earliest realistic delivery is 2029, and a flight-test program can still move that date. If you need an ultra-long-range jet sooner, the Global 8000 is already flying, as the comparison below shows.
Falcon 10X Specs
Dassault states the range with eight passengers and NBAA IFR reserves. Like every manufacturer’s figure, it is theoretical, so winds, routing and payload decide a real trip.

Range and Short Fields
At 7,500 nautical miles the 10X is a true intercontinental jet, though not the longest in its class. Bombardier lists 8,000 nautical miles for the Global 8000 and Gulfstream 8,200 for the G800 (bombardier.com and gulfstream.com, read November 2026). Dassault’s pitch is the combination of a very large cabin with a takeoff distance under 6,000 feet and a landing distance under 2,500 feet, which matters for airports with shorter runways. For the full ranking, see our longest range private jets comparison.
Flight Deck
The NeXus flight deck was developed with Honeywell (Business Jet Traveler, July 2026). Dassault lists multi-touch displays, a digital flight control system with Smart Throttle, a button-activated stabilization protection mode and the FalconEye combined vision system, which it says gives guidance on approaches down to 100 feet (dassaultfalcon.com, read November 2026). Pilot seats fully berth on long missions.
The Cabin
Width Is the Selling Point
The headline number is 109 inches of cabin width against 80 inches of height, in a cabin 53.10 feet long (dassaultfalcon.com, read November 2026). That cross-section is wider than the Global 8000’s 8 feet (96 inches) and the G700’s 8 feet 2 inches (98 inches). Cross-section is what makes a cabin feel like a room rather than a corridor, and it is where the 10X leads on paper. Gulfstream’s cabin is longer, though, and the 10X gives up some range.
Windows, Seats and Privacy
Dassault says the 10X has 38 windows, the most of any Falcon, along with fully reclining seats and an optional Privacy Suite with a divider and berthable seats. It lists Ka-band high-speed connectivity and compatibility with sustainable aviation fuel (dassaultfalcon.com, read November 2026). Dassault gives no numeric cabin altitude, saying only that it is low. By comparison, Bombardier lists 2,691 feet for the Global 8000 at 41,000 feet (bombardier.com, read November 2026).
Layouts for the 10X are bespoke and will be defined with each buyer, so treat any sleeping or shower configuration you see in renderings as a concept until it appears on a signed specification sheet. Falcon 10X vs Global 8000 vs G700
Three flagships, three different bets. The Global 8000 is in service now with the most range, the G700 has the longest cabin, and the 10X is the widest.

Private Jet Card Comparisons records the Global 8000 as entering service in December 2025 (read November 2026). Gulfstream lists the G700 at 7,750 nautical miles at Mach 0.85, falling to 6,650 at Mach 0.90, with up to five living areas (gulfstream.com, read November 2026).
Verdict: buy the Global 8000 if you want the longest range and a jet that is flying today. Buy the G700 for the longest cabin and an established fleet. Wait for the 10X only if the widest, tallest cross-section matters enough to hold a delivery slot until 2029. Neither of the other two waits on certification. See our Bombardier Global 8000 price, Gulfstream G700 price and Gulfstream G800 price guides for the details on each rival.
Charter Until It Flies
Most readers will never buy a 10X-class aircraft, and the first one will not be available to charter for years. For a similar trip today, large-cabin charter is the practical route.

Questions Buyers Ask
- How much does a Falcon 10X cost?
- Private Jet Card Comparisons reports about $75 million for a new Falcon 10X (read November 2026). Dassault publishes no price and refers buyers to its sales team. The figure is an estimate, since the jet is still in flight testing and final price depends on the interior and delivery slot.
- Has the Falcon 10X flown yet?
- Yes. The first Falcon 10X flew from Bordeaux-Mérignac on June 19, 2026, reaching 40,000 feet and Mach 0.82 in about two and a half hours, per Business Jet Traveler (July 2026). A second and third test aircraft are being prepared for the certification campaign.
- Is Falcon better than Gulfstream?
- Neither is better across the board. On published figures the Falcon 10X has a wider and taller cabin than the Gulfstream G700, while the G700 has a longer cabin, 7,750 nautical miles of range against 7,500, and is already in service (Dassault and Gulfstream, read November 2026). The right choice depends on mission and timing.
- What is the range of the Falcon 10X?
- Dassault lists 7,500 nautical miles (13,890 km) with eight passengers and NBAA IFR reserves (dassaultfalcon.com, read November 2026). That is theoretical, so real trips vary with winds, routing and payload. The Global 8000 lists 8,000 nautical miles.
- How fast is the Falcon 10X?
- Dassault gives a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925 and a certified ceiling of 51,000 feet (dassaultfalcon.com, read November 2026). On its first flight the prototype reached Mach 0.82 at 40,000 feet (Business Jet Traveler, July 2026).
- When will the Falcon 10X enter service?
- Dassault now targets 2029, moved from 2027 at its half-year results in July 2026. CEO Éric Trappier said certification could take about two and a half years after first flight, but gave no firm commitment to the date (Business Jet Traveler, July 2026).
